Jac Y Do Jac Y Do Welsh Folk Group Jac Y Do formed in October 1987, has been one of Wales' foremost folk bands for many years. They come from the Amman Valley, on the Western edge of what were once the South Wales coal fields, and the spirit and wit of the mining community is evident in their music. They have represented Wales in the International festivals in Majorca, Portugal and Canada, and are well known in all the Welsh folk festivals including Pontardawe and Cnapan, and the National Eisteddfod, and appear regularly on the TV in Wales. The songs here contain their usual mix of traditional and original Welsh songs, together with Welsh adaptations of Irish songs, and their popular rendition of John Denver's Annie's Song. It also features compositions by their lead singer Keri Morgan, and the multi talented Gareth Gravelle. Below are Mp3 downloads of songs from their album "Ban't a'r Cart" They are also a very poular Twmpath Band. |
